Home-based Training/Behavior Modification is a one-on-one trainer to client method. I will come to your home and help you learn how to understand and interact with your dog as well as help you effectively teach your dog the desired behaviors. The dog will be responding to you rather than me. This method of training is very effective and tends to stick with the dog. Each program is tailored to the specific dog's needs. Home-based Training/Behavior Modification is excellent for owners who are up for the challenge of teaching their dogs new, more appropriate behaviors. Substantial time must be put in by the owner for this method to work. If you feel too busy to put the necessary time into working with your dog, or if the challenge of training your dog seems overwhelming or unappealing to you, Owner-Absent Training may be a better option for you and your dog.
